How it went in 2025
The 2025 Ancient Residences Festival was held on August 6th in Schiazzano, a hamlet of the Municipality of Massa Lubrense (Naples), coinciding with the patronal feast of the Most Holy Savior. The event appeared in the Lubrense festival calendar and the municipal summer program with the theme "between taste and history," which summarizes its dual nature: on one hand, the food stalls with fiordilatte, local cheeses, and typical products of the Sorrento Peninsula, and on the other, the journey of discovery through the 17th-century village and its historical residences.
As in previous editions, the event took place in the evening, with free access to the village, and represented one of the most attended moments of the Lubrense summer, alongside Limoni in Festa, the tomato festival in Torca, and the eggplant festival in Marina della Lobra.
