Ancient Grains Festival 2025
From October 31 to November 2, 2025, the Palazzo d'Aumale - Regional Museum of Terrasini hosted the edition of the Ancient Grains Festival, structured around the theme "The Grain's Journey: From Field to Table".
Activities included: the "Grain and Fantasy" creative workshops, which involved about fifty children in a playful and sensory journey; evening show cooking sessions dedicated to pasta made with Sicilian ancient grains, with guided tastings; a round table and a cultural aperitif on the paths of grain in Sicily, dedicated to the role of ancient grains in the Mediterranean diet and their economic and environmental potential. On Saturday evening, the musical group Sei Ottavi performed, with an appearance by the artist Sasà Salvaggio.
