Edition 2025 — Festival of the Bastia

In 2025, the Ancient Festival of the Bastia animated the Sanctuary of the Bastia and Palariso in Isola della Scala as every year, blending devotion and popular celebration: procession, Holy Mass, craft market, food stalls, music, and dancing to close the weekend of Women's Day.

The 2025 edition of the Ancient Festival of the Bastia took place in Isola della Scala, in the Bassa Veronese region, around the Sanctuary of the Bastia. As is tradition, the event combined religious moments — the procession and Holy Mass at the sanctuary — with popular festival events at Palariso: food stalls, craft market, workshops, concerts, and dancing evenings. An early spring event that prepares the community of Isola for the great celebrations of the sanctuary's 900th anniversary.
