The Middle Ages come alive in the Marca Trevigiana

The Ancient Fair of Santa Lucia di Piave is one of the most important historical re-enactments in the Veneto, organized by the Comitato Antica Fiera, described by its promoters as the largest and most active medieval re-enactment association in the region. The event brings to life the medieval fair of the 14th century, regulated by the statutes of the Municipality of Treviso, in the heart of Santa Lucia di Piave (province of Treviso).

Over two hundred participants

More than 200 costumed members animate the streets and squares of the town: merchants displaying their goods, musicians and jugglers, falconers with their birds of prey, knights, innkeepers, and serving maids. The mint strikes ancient coins on-site, which visitors can use for purchases, as was customary at the time.

An authentic medieval market

The fair meticulously reconstructs the economy and daily life of a 14th-century village: from artisan workshops to taverns, from street performances to armed combat. The event aims to promote and enhance local culture and history, offering a complete immersion into the past.

With its scale and activity, the Ancient Fair of Santa Lucia di Piave has become a benchmark event for re-enactment enthusiasts and families, attracting visitors from across the Marca Trevigiana and beyond.
