Ancient Cilento Pizza Festival

The 19th edition, from August 6th to 11th, 2025

In 2025, the Ancient Cilento Pizza Festival returned to Giungano, in the Cilento National Park, for its nineteenth edition: six consecutive evenings dedicated to long-leavened ancient Cilento pizza, baked in the historic wood-fired ovens of the village center and accompanied by local peasant cuisine, from lagane e ceci to zeppole.

Guests and music

The Guest Oven featured rotating Italian pizza brands, while the stage hosted Ciccio Nucera with Calabrian drums and tarantellas, the Sicilian group I Beddi, the Cilento voice of Tanuccio Corona, singer-songwriter Eugenio Finardi, Roberto Colella from La Maschera, and the vocal experimentation of Dadà. The edition confirmed the plastic-free approach, the gluten-free menu, and the presentation of the Giungano Cilentum Award, alongside the local producers' market with honey, cheeses, and seasonal products.
