Edition 2025 — Amatrice a Cavallo

The fifth edition of Amatrice a Cavallo took place from September 4th to 7th, 2025, in Torrita di Amatrice. Four days of horse fair and market with genealogical evaluations, carriage and butteri parades, equestrian shows, folk music, local product stands, and a charity lottery, celebrating the rural traditions of the Alta Sabina region.

The fifth edition of Amatrice a Cavallo was held from September 4th to 7th, 2025, in Torrita di Amatrice, in the Municipality of Amatrice (province of Rieti, Lazio). The event confirmed its success with the public, featuring a large gathering of horses, mules, and working animals, as well as official studbook evaluations conducted by CAITPR and ANACAITPR.

Throughout the days, there were parades of carriages and butteri, the procession of ox-drawn wagons, equestrian shows, folk music with accordions and ciaramelle, an exhibition-market with stalls of local products, and the traditional charity lottery supporting local activities.
