Edition 2025 — AMATEATRO

During the 2024/2025 season, the Teatro delle Arti in Lastra a Signa once again dedicated space to local amateur theatre, in line with the AMATEATRO festival. Amateur companies from the Metropolitan City of Florence performed comedies in the Tuscan vernacular, confirming the spring tradition of popular comedy and Tuscan dialectal theatre, organized by the Compagnia Teatro popolare d'arte with the support of the Municipality.

AMATEATRO in the 2024/2025 season

Within the 2024/2025 programming of the Teatro delle Arti in Lastra a Signa, amateur theatre once again found its dedicated space. Amateur companies from the Florence area enlivened the stage with comedies in the Tuscan vernacular, following the tradition of a festival that celebrates the passion of amateurs and the bond with the local community every spring.

The program, curated by the Compagnia Teatro popolare d'arte directed by Francesco Giorgi with the support of the Municipality of Lastra a Signa, confirmed the popular and inclusive vocation of amateur theatre, setting the stage for the subsequent edition of AMATEATRO 2026.
