Edition 2025 — Alzheimer Marathon

The 14th edition of the Alzheimer Marathon took place on September 13 and 14, 2025, between Cesena and Cesenatico. 986 athletes registered for the Half Marathon (VII Azeglio Vicini Memorial), with 890 crossing the finish line, while approximately 4,500 people participated in the marches. The event raised over €8,400 for Alzheimer's research and care.

The 2025 edition of the Alzheimer Marathon confirmed the event's strong roots in the Romagna community. On Sunday, September 14, the Half Marathon, VII Azeglio Vicini Memorial, included in the FIDAL calendar and organized in collaboration with the Panathlon Club Cesena, saw 986 registered participants and 890 finishers, who were awarded a medal depicting the Leonardesque port-canal of Cesenatico. On the men's podium was Nicholas De Nicolò (01:08:30), followed by Rachid Benhamdane and Andrea Bonoli.

The marches — Great, Small, and Mini — were attended by approximately 4,500 people, while the side events on Saturday at the Parco di Levante (Dog Walking and Kids Run) involved another 500 participants. Overall, the fundraising exceeded €8,400 to support Alzheimer's projects.
