Edition 2025 — Alvito Sheep Festival
The first edition of the Sheep Festival in Alvito
On June 7, 2025, the belvedere of Alvito, in the province of Frosinone, hosted the first edition of the Alvito Sheep Festival. The absolute star was mutton, cooked in multiple recipes by local associations: pasta with mutton ragù, meatballs in sauce, grilled meat, skewers, and sandwiches with sausage and capocollo, accompanied by cheeses, local wines, craft beer, and desserts. The evening, with free admission, featured live music and free inflatables for children, enjoying excellent participation and inaugurating a tradition destined to be repeated in the following years in the Comino Valley.
