Edition 2025 — Alvito Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Alvito Carnival took place on Sunday, March 2, in Alvito, with a parade of allegorical floats and masks that started from Fontanelle and ended in Piazza della Vittoria. The day, organized by the Pro Loco, combined entertainment for children, the burning of King Carnival, and the traditional free pasta party.

The 2025 Alvito Carnival was held on Sunday, March 2, in the historic center of Alvito, in the province of Frosinone. The parade of masks and allegorical floats started in the afternoon from the Fontanelle area to reach Piazza della Vittoria, the heart of the festivities. Here, entertainment and readings for children took place, followed by the sentencing and burning of King Carnival and, at the end of the day, the pasta party offered for free to all participants. The Caciata, the typical Alvito pastry made with ricotta and chocolate, was also present. The event was organized by the Pro Loco of Alvito.

Programme

Sunday, March 2, 2025: 2:00 PM gathering at Fontanelle and departure of the allegorical float and mask parade; 3:30 PM arrival at Piazza della Vittoria with entertainment and readings for children; 5:20 PM sentencing and burning of King Carnival; 6:15 PM free pasta party for all participants. In parallel, a show for children at the Municipal Theater.
