Altavilla Milicia Living Nativity

The 13th edition of the Altavilla Milicia Living Nativity, organized by the San Giuseppe Festival Committee with the patronage of the Municipality, was held on December 26 and 28, 2025, and January 4, 2026, from 4:30 PM, in the Garden of the Sisters Daughters of the Cross on Via Dante 2.

The route combined tradition, faith, and culture: volunteers brought the scenes of old-world Bethlehem to life, with shepherds, artisans, ancient trades like the blacksmith and carpenter, and animals. Visits were accompanied by bagpipers, moments of folklore and music, tastings of typical local products, and the presence of Santa Claus for the little ones. Admission was free.

To enrich the festivities, the Artistic Nativity Exhibition was set up near the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Milicia, open from December 18 to January 9.
