Edition 2025 — Altamura in Festival

The 2025 edition of Altamura in Festival took place from August 5 to September 11, featuring fifteen free evenings between Piazza Don Tonino Bello and Piazza Matteotti. The program alternated concerts, variety shows, cabaret, and illusionism with local vernacular theatre, highlighted by the Tiromancino concert on August 22. All shows were free, starting at 9:00 PM.

The 2025 edition of Altamura in Festival, promoted by the Municipal Administration of Altamura, consisted of fifteen free evenings from August 5 to September 11, 2025, spread across two stages in the city center.

Piazza Don Tonino Bello hosted concerts, variety shows, cabaret, and illusionism: from the tribute to Renzo Arbore by La Zanzarita Orchestra to the tribute to Rino Gaetano by the Orchestra Saverio Mercadante, as well as cabaret by Dado and Pinuccio and the concert by the Roman band Tiromancino. Piazza Matteotti hosted vernacular theatre, with local amateur companies performing the region's comic traditions in dialect. All events, starting at 9:00 PM, were free of charge until capacity was reached.

  • August 9 — Edon'é, "Allu ballo dei Sava"
  • September 7 — Obiettivo Successo, "L'anniversarj de matrimonije"
  • September 8 — Scout Mascialtamura1, "La putènz d la sroje"

Shows start at 9:00 PM. Free admission until capacity is reached.

Highlights

The most anticipated moment was the Tiromancino concert on August 22 in Piazza Don Tonino Bello. Other highlights included the tributes to Renzo Arbore and Rino Gaetano, the cabaret by Dado and Pinuccio, and the evenings of local vernacular theatre in Piazza Matteotti.
