Alta Campania Wine Fest

The first edition of the Alta Campania Wine Fest

On September 5 and 6, 2025, Castel Campagnano, in the province of Caserta, hosted the first edition of the Alta Campania Wine Fest, from 6:00 PM to 1:30 AM, at the Parco Comunale La Peschiera. The event, promoted by the Asso Alta Campania association, brought together 24 local wineries with over 90 labels available for tasting.

At the heart of the event were the indigenous grape varieties of the Upper Caserta region—Casavecchia, Pallagrello Nero, and Pallagrello Bianco—accompanied by a food truck area featuring six local street food vendors. The program included masterclasses, talks with special guests such as master pizzaiolo Franco Pepe and Michelin-starred chef Domenico Marotta, as well as cocktail bars, DJ sets, and an after-party. A debut that confirmed the food, wine, and tourism potential of this area of Campania.
