Edition 2025 — Alpenfest

Alpenfest 2025 celebrated transhumance in Livigno on September 20 and 21, with the parade of livestock adorned with bells and garlands, traditional costumes, livestock exhibition, and folk music between the Isola area and Trepalle.

The 2025 edition of Alpenfest took place on September 20 and 21, reprising the grand transhumance festival of Livigno. The cattle, returning from high-altitude pastures, paraded through the village adorned with decorated bells and floral garlands, accompanied by the people of Livigno in traditional costume, folk groups, and the band. Amidst the livestock exhibition, milking competitions, and music, the event confirmed its role as an identity event for Valtellina's Alpine culture.
