Edition 2025 — Alpen Film Festival

In the summer of 2025, the Alpen Film Festival brought its "Grenzenlos" tour to Sesto (Sexten) at the Haus der Berge, focusing on crossing boundaries. Five documentaries totaling about 110 minutes told stories of mountain farms in South Tyrol, polar nights in Norway, Bike & Fly adventures, powder skiing, and a major first Himalayan ascent with mountaineers Roger Schäli and Simon Gietl. A free evening dedicated to alpine cinema.

Alpen Film Festival 2025 — the "Grenzenlos" Tour in Sesto

The 2025 edition of the Alpen Film Festival stopped in Sesto (Sexten) at the Haus der Berge with the tour titled "Grenzenlos" (Boundless), which in its fifth year of activity invited audiences to move step by step, as one does in the mountains, toward a life of peace.

The program, lasting about 110 minutes, brought together five documentaries: South Tyrolean mountain farmers, Norwegians in the polar night, Bike & Fly adventures, descents in fresh snow, and footage of a major first Himalayan ascent with mountaineers Roger Schäli and Simon Gietl.

The free evening confirmed Sesto as one of the most evocative stops on the tour in the heart of the South Tyrolean Dolomites.
