Almond-Stuffed Fig Festival 2025 - 23rd Edition

The 23rd edition was held from August 29 to 31, 2025, organized by the Municipality of San Michele Salentino in collaboration with Puglia Hortus. On Friday the 29th, in Borgo Aijeni, the sunset concert by Murikiafrobeat opened the event. On Saturday the 30th, in Piazza Marconi, the opening ceremony accompanied the inauguration of the photo exhibition "Ruins of Apulia - Memories in Time", the pomological exhibition on fig and almond biodiversity, and the 15th edition of the wine competition "The Best Sweet Wines of Apulia meet the Almond-Stuffed Fig", curated by the Brindisi delegation of AIS Puglia; in the evening, a concert by Roy Paci & Aretuska.

On Sunday the 31st, exhibitions and the competition continued, along with a free pizzica workshop, a concert by Salvatore Galeanda, and a world-electronic live set by Trevize, followed by the lottery draw. Local reports spoke of a record-breaking edition in terms of attendance, confirming the festival's role in the food and wine tourism of the Brindisi province.
