Edition 2025 — Alcamo Wine Fest

The second edition of the Alcamo Wine Fest took place on December 15 and 16, 2025, between the Jesuit College and the Castle of the Counts of Modica. Two days dedicated to the wines of Alcamo and Sicily, featuring the presentation of Gambero Rosso's Vini d'Italia 2026 guide, tastings of Tre Bicchieri award-winning wines, and an evening open to enthusiasts with expert-led tastings.

Two days of history and tastings

The 2025 edition of the Alcamo Wine Fest opened on Monday, December 15, at 5:00 PM, with the presentation of Gambero Rosso's Vini d'Italia 2026 guide in the auditorium of the Jesuit College. At 6:30 PM, at the Castle of the Counts of Modica, a tasting session was held for institutions, restaurateurs, press, and industry operators, featuring wines awarded the Tre Bicchieri and labels from Alcamo's wineries.

On Tuesday, December 16, the event opened to the public with a tasting at 6:30 PM, led by experts who illustrated the characteristics and nuances of the wines on offer. The star was Catarratto, the signature grape of the Alcamo territory in the province of Trapani. The event was organized by Gambero Rosso in partnership with the Municipality of Alcamo and the Regional Wine Cellar of Western Sicily.

Programme

Monday, December 15 — Jesuit College and Castle of the Counts of Modica

  • 5:00 PM — Presentation of Gambero Rosso's Vini d'Italia 2026 guide (Jesuit College auditorium)
  • 6:30 PM — Tasting at the Castle of the Counts of Modica featuring Tre Bicchieri award-winning wines and excellence from Alcamo wineries (reserved for institutions, restaurateurs, press, and industry operators)

Tuesday, December 16 — Castle of the Counts of Modica

  • 6:30 PM — Tasting open to the public, led by experts illustrating the characteristics and nuances of the wines

Highlights

Presentation of Gambero Rosso's Vini d'Italia 2026 guide, tasting of Sicilian wines awarded the Tre Bicchieri, and an evening open to the public dedicated to Catarratto.

Prices

Tickets for the tastings were available for purchase online via the Gambero Rosso store. Press accreditation closed on December 13.
