Third edition of the Alba Fucens Christmas Markets

From December 6 to 8, 2025, the Pro Loco Alba Fucens organized the third edition of the Christmas Markets at the Alba Fucens archaeological site in Massa d'Albe (AQ), with the support of the municipalities of the Marsica region. The opening on Saturday, December 6, at 12:00 PM, with a blessing and inauguration, kicked off three days of festivities among the Roman ruins.

The program alternated between music and entertainment: the TOP VOICE music school directed by Erminia Massaro with Christmas carols, the Simon e Samantha Production company with stilt walkers, juggling, acrobatics, puppets, and fire dancing, and the folk group I Cantari della Valle Roveto with traditional music and accordions. There were also guided tours of the archaeological site, the amphitheatre, and the Church of San Pietro in Albe, led by professional guides. The Pro Loco's food stands offered arrosticini, mulled wine, hot chocolate, and themed ferratelle.

Monday, December 8, 2025 (Immaculate Conception)

• 10:00 AM — Opening
• Afternoon — Folk group I Cantari della Valle Roveto with traditional music and accordions

Throughout the three days

• Stalls featuring artisans, hobbyists, creative artists, and local food producers
• Pro Loco gastronomy: arrosticini, mulled wine, hot chocolate, themed ferratelle; polenta, small pizzas, and meatball sandwiches; fried fish
• Guided tours of the archaeological site, the amphitheatre, and the Church of San Pietro in Albe
