Alaleona Theater and Opera Season

The 2024/2025 season of the Alaleona Theater in Montegiorgio was presented under the title "Intimate Visions", emphasizing the emotional and personal dimension of the theatrical experience in the darkness of the hall. Promoted by the Municipal Administration of Montegiorgio (FM), it included about thirty events, with a national-level prose season and as many as five regional exclusives among the six main titles.

Among the featured performances: the opening with "1984" by George Orwell, directed by Giancarlo Nicoletti, starring Violante Placido and Ninni Bruschetta; the start of 2025 with Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing", directed by Veronica Cruciani, starring Lodo Guenzi and Sara Putignano; Alessandro Bergonzoni with "Arrivano i dunque"; "Boston Marriage" by David Mamet with Maria Paiato; "La ferocia" based on the novel by Nicola Lagioia; and the closing on April 7, 2025, with "Pirandello Pulp", starring Massimo Dapporto and Fabio Troiano. The program also included children's theater, "magical afternoon" events with Cesare Catà, and the music season.
