Edition 2025 — La Paniccia of Alagna
Shrove Tuesday, March 4, 2025, brought the customary Paniccia festival to Alagna Valsesia. At noon, the free distribution of the rice, vegetable, and meat soup began in Piazza Belvedere, following the solidarity rule that invites everyone to show up with their own pot. The day continued with a community lunch at 12:30 PM and dinner at 7:30 PM. The evening concluded at 9:30 PM with a masquerade ball at the Teatro Unione Alagnese, in a festive atmosphere that brought together residents and visitors in the Walser village at the foot of Monte Rosa, in the Province of Vercelli.
