Edition 2025 — Agricicciolo
Agricicciolo is conceived as a new event in Gazzuolo in 2026. In 2025, the lower Mantua region continued to cultivate the tradition of pork cracklings and peasant culture, the roots from which this festival dedicated to pork fat and agricultural tractors springs.
Agricicciolo will debut in Gazzuolo in 2026. However, the festival has its roots in an ancient tradition of the lower Mantua region, where the processing of pork, and particularly 'ciccioli', has always been part of the winter gastronomic culture. In 2025, before the event's launch, these customs remained alive in the families and rural communities of the Mantua province, the context from which the Municipal AVIS drew inspiration for the new festival.
