Agricastrum 2025, the fourth edition

From September 5 to 7, 2025, Castronovo di Sicilia hosted the fourth edition of Agricastrum, confirmed as the island's largest agricultural fair. The exhibition area, exceeding four hectares along the SS189, was complemented by a testing field of about twenty hectares where agricultural vehicles were put to the test.

The program combined exhibition and training: technical conferences addressed precision farming, the use of drones and sensors (with professors Carlo Greco and Santino Orlando from the University of Palermo), no-till seeding, PSR funding, and sustainable techniques. Authorities present included regional councilor Edy Tamaio and mayor Vitale Gattuso. The event also featured a gathering of agricultural machinery, tastings of local specialties, family entertainment, and live music. Admission was free.
