Edition 2025 — Agira Living Nativity

The 2025 edition of the Agira Living Nativity took place on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2025, starting at 8:00 PM. That year, among the ruins of the medieval castle and the narrow streets of the town, the Amici del Presepe Association once again presented its traditional re-enactment of the Nativity, featuring the arrival of Mary and Joseph, the search for lodging, and the final scene illuminated by the Star of Bethlehem. Admission was free.

The 2025 edition of the Agira Living Nativity was held as per tradition on the night of December 24, 2025, starting at 8:00 PM, following Holy Mass. The performance, organized by the Amici del Presepe Association, brought the ruins of the medieval castle and the alleys of the upper historic center of Agira (EN) to life.

The public was able to follow the arrival of Mary and Joseph, the search for lodging along the town streets, and the Nativity set among the castle ruins, walking through a path populated by actors who re-enacted ancient trades amidst huts, music, and carols. Admission was free, with a shuttle service provided to reach the upper part of the town.
