Agira Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Agira Carnival spanned from February 22 to March 4, treating Agira to days of celebration filled with confetti, music, and tradition. Piazza Garibaldi and the narrow streets of the historic center provided the backdrop for a program rich in events.

On February 27, entertainment took to the streets, with music spreading through the village alleys. On March 1, the festival hit its stride with the ballroom dancing competition, while March 2 was the day of the grand parade of masks and allegorical floats, with brightly colored floats traveling through the streets of Agira. The spectacle continued until March 4 with the final parade and the final awards ceremony for the best masks and most original floats. An explosion of color and tradition that confirmed the strong bond between the Agira community and its Carnival.
