Edition 2025 — Afrobrix

The V Edition of Afrobrix Film Festival took place in June 2025 at Cinema Nuovo Eden in Brescia. Three days of Afro-European cinema and diasporas, with films and short films in competition, meetings with authors and guests, as well as musical events open to the city, in the spirit of intercultural dialogue.

The 2025 edition of Afrobrix confirmed the festival as a leading Italian event for Afro-European cinema and diasporas. At Cinema Nuovo Eden in Brescia, screenings in competition, previews, and meetings with directors and protagonists of the Afro-descendant scene alternated.

Alongside the screenings, musical and cultural events brought the festival outside the cinema hall, involving the city. An edition that reinforced Afrobrix's role as a space for storytelling and cultural exchange, in view of the VI Edition in 2026.
