Edition 2025 — Afrobrix

The V Edition of Afrobrix Film Festival took place in June 2025 at the Cinema Nuovo Eden in Brescia. Three days of Afro-European cinema and diasporas, featuring films and short films in competition, meetings with authors and guests, as well as music events open to the city, in the spirit of intercultural dialogue.

The 2025 edition of Afrobrix confirmed the festival as an Italian reference point for Afro-European cinema and diasporas. At the Cinema Nuovo Eden in Brescia, screenings in competition, previews, and meetings with directors and protagonists of the Afro-descendant scene alternated.

Alongside the screenings, musical and cultural events brought the festival outside the cinema, involving the city. An edition that strengthened Afrobrix's role as a space for storytelling and cultural exchange, looking ahead to the VI edition in 2026.
