Advent Christmas Market

The 2025 Advent Christmas Festival was held on Sunday, November 30, 2025, in the historic center of Roccamontepiano (CH). The market opened at 10:00 AM with over fifty exhibitors offering crafts, hobbyist items, and local products.

Food stalls offered pallotte cacio e ova, anellini with wild boar ragù, fried pizzas, sausage sandwiches, crepes, panettone, chestnuts, cooked wine, and mulled wine. In the afternoon, from 2:00 PM, there was entertainment for families with stilt walkers, the Christmas band, roving music, and a meeting with Santa Claus.

At 3:30 PM, the highlight: the lighting of the Advent fire and the blessing, an ancient propitiatory rite of the Marrucini tradition that celebrates the anticipation of Christmas and the rebirth of light.
