Tattoos, sports, and music in the historic center of Senigallia
The Adriatic Tattoo & Sport Festival is an original event that intertwines two typically distant worlds: the art of tattooing and urban sports culture. Born in 2025, it is one of the few events of its kind to take place not in an exhibition hall but directly in the historic center of Senigallia, a seaside town in the Province of Ancona in the Marche region, famous for its "velvet beach." For three days, the city squares become a widespread stage where tattoo conventions, sports competitions, concerts, and shows coexist.
The event involves the most evocative and iconic locations in Senigallia, each with its own vocation:
The festival brings together about 250 Italian and international tattoo artists, each with their own style, who work live in front of the public. Alongside ink, sport is the absolute protagonist: from basketball to 2-on-2 soccer, from pickleball to Muay Thai, as well as kickboxing, boxing, yoga, and hybrid competitions. Demonstrations, open lessons, and free spaces allow everyone to try out the different disciplines.
The soundtrack is provided by DJ sets and live concerts ranging from indie to rock to hip hop, while urban dance performances, book presentations, and creative workshops complete a program that never stops, from early afternoon until late at night.
Organized by Adriatic Events, the Adriatic Tattoo & Sport Festival offers free admission: a choice that makes it a great popular celebration open to families, tattoo enthusiasts, athletes, and the simply curious. The widespread format, with events distributed across the squares of the center, makes the festival an opportunity to experience Senigallia and the Marche region in an unusual and energetic way, amidst creativity, movement, and music.
The second edition of the Adriatic Tattoo & Sport Festival takes place in Senigallia from Friday, June 26 to Sunday, June 28, 2026, daily from 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM. The widespread format in the historic center is confirmed, between Piazza del Duca, Gardens of Rocca Roveresca, Piazza Roma, Piazza Simoncelli, and Foro Annonario. Admission is free.
The 2026 festival confirms the three-day format, daily from 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM, with the convention of 250 tattoo artists, street food, and the main stage in Piazza Roma.
