Adelasia del Vasto Historical Re-enactment

On April 26 and 27, 2025, Patti paid tribute to Adelasia del Vasto, Great Countess of Sicily and Queen of Jerusalem. Events began at 4:00 PM with the screening of the short film "Adelasia Comitissa et Regina in Pacte" in the crypt of the church of Sant'Ippolito, followed by the Grand Royal Historical Pageant with cultural associations from various parts of Sicily, a solemn Eucharistic celebration at the church of Sant'Ippolito, and the Medieval Dinner in the Old Town at Piazza Cavour, featuring tastings of medieval-flavored dishes, music, shows, period settings, and street artists.

The events of Saturday, April 26, were cancelled in conjunction with the funeral of Pope Francis; the day of Sunday, April 27, proceeded regularly, confirming the event as one of the signature manifestations of the Municipality of Patti, in the province of Messina.
