Edition 2025 — Abitare il Tempo
Anno Zero: the first season
The Anno Zero season represented the debut of the Nuovo Teatro Scaletta, inaugurated in December 2024 within the Multifunctional Cultural Centre of Scaletta Zanclea, in the Province of Messina. Six main shows were featured from January to May 2025.
The curtain rose on Sunday, January 19th, with La grande menzogna, written and directed by Claudio Fava. March featured contemporary drama with Patres by the Compagnia Il Nastro di Mobius (directed by Saverio Tavano) and Il sogno di Yerma; April featured Le mille bolle blu by Salvatore Rizzo with Filippo Luna. Alongside the evening programme, the Famiglie a Teatro series offered Piccolomondomusica, the contemporary circus show Lumie - Il circo dei limoni, and Il sarto furbacchione. A first season that laid the foundations for the subsequent Abitare il Tempo programme.
