Abbazie Summer Festival 2025 in Mosciano Sant'Angelo
The 2025 edition of the Abbazie Summer Festival inaugurated its program in Mosciano Sant'Angelo on July 15, 2025, in Piazza del Giglio, in the village of Montone. The star of the evening was the legendary double bassist Dave Holland, performing in Europe exclusively with his new ensemble, Kismet.
Joining Holland was a stellar quartet: saxophonist Chris Potter, guitarist Kevin Eubanks, and drummer Obed Calvaire. The concert opened a special edition that celebrated the tenth anniversary of the 'Concerti delle Abbazie' project in 2025, spanning the Abbazie Jazz and Abbazie Classica sections throughout the province of Teramo, from July 15 to September 18.
