Abbazia Festival 2025 — 7th edition

The 7th edition of the Abbazia Festival was held in Abbadia San Salvatore (SI), on Monte Amiata, from July 28 to August 10, 2025, in the evocative Cloister of the Abbey of San Salvatore. Organized by the Compagnia San Marco Papa Association with the patronage of the Municipality, the festival explored the theme of travel, interpreted as a physical pilgrimage along the Via Francigena and as an inner, spiritual journey.

The program intertwined conferences and talks on the history of the Abbey and the Middle Ages, chamber music concerts, guided tours of the Abbey and the Museum of Sacred Art, and workshops for children. For the 2025 Jubilee, the Abbey of San Salvatore was highlighted as one of the official stops on the pilgrimage routes to Rome, reaffirming its historical, cultural, and tourist importance.
