Edition 2025 — Farro Festival

The 31st edition of the Abbateggio Farro Festival took place on August 8, 9, and 10, 2025, in the historic center of the Pescara village, on the occasion of the feast of Saint Lawrence. Three evenings dedicated to farro and Abruzzo specialties—arrosticini, cheeses, cured meats, and local wines—accompanied by concerts and live performances, blending tradition, taste, and the landscapes of the Majella.

Farro Festival 2025: the 31st edition

The 31st edition of the Farro Festival was held in Abbateggio on August 8, 9, and 10, 2025, in the heart of the historic center, for the feast of the patron saint Saint Lawrence. Farro was the absolute star, with traditional peasant dishes accompanied by arrosticini, cheeses, cured meats, and Abruzzo wines.

Each evening was enlivened by concerts and live performances, featuring musical groups such as Le Notti Magiche, Fratelli di Taglia, and Mamme in Swing, amidst romantic atmospheres, rhythm, and vintage sounds. Alongside the tastings, the festival offered the sale of local products and moments of conviviality in the Majella village, organized by the Pro Loco of Abbateggio.
