Edition 2025 — A Day in the Fortress

In 2025, "A Day in the Fortress" once again transformed Forlimpopoli into a Renaissance city for a whole weekend in May. Period market, encampments, Palio games between the districts, fire shows, falconry, and the historical pageant of Count Brunoro II Zampeschi animated the Ordelaffa Fortress and the historic center, with free admission to all events.

The 2025 edition of the Forlimpopoli Renaissance festival confirmed the tried-and-tested formula of the event organized by Pro Loco with the patronage of the Municipality: three days dedicated to historical re-enactment, between the moat and courtyard of the Ordelaffa Fortress, Piazza Garibaldi, and the halls of the historic center.

The public enjoyed the Renaissance market, the games and tournaments between the districts, the performances of flag-wavers, drummers, and jesters, the falconry demonstrations, and the evening fire shows, culminating in the grand pageant dedicated to the return of Count Brunoro II Zampeschi. A popular spring event in Romagna, capable of combining history, entertainment, and typical gastronomy.
