Edition 2025 — 60th Anniversary of Bianco di Pitigliano DOC

The celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Bianco di Pitigliano DOC is set for 2026, marking the milestone for the designation recognized in 1966. The Cantina di Pitigliano and the Associazione Cantine nel Tufo animate the Maremma village every year with events dedicated to local wine, such as 'Cantine Aperte' and tastings in the historic cellars carved into the tuff.

Bianco di Pitigliano is one of the oldest controlled designation of origin wines in Tuscany, established in 1966. In the tuff village, in the province of Grosseto, the Cantina di Pitigliano and the Associazione Cantine nel Tufo offer oenological events and tastings throughout the year, promoting a white wine born from Trebbiano Toscano and the historic grape varieties of the Maremma. The grand 60th-anniversary celebration, featuring a conference and public tasting, is scheduled for June 20, 2026.
