Edition 2025 — 6 Hours of Ostia

The first edition of the 6 Hours of Ostia was held on the night of September 13–14, 2025, on the Roman coast. On the flat, traffic-free paved circuit of approximately 1,550 meters, individual ultramarathoners and relay teams alternated. The winners were Salvatore Vassallo (ASD Rincorro) with 69.555 km and Maria Domenica Gagliardi (Puglia Marathon) with 67.256 km.

2025: Ostia's night debut

The first chapter of the 6 Hours of Ostia brought the timed ultramarathon to the sea of Rome, with a midnight start and a finish at dawn. Organized by Personal Best ASD based on an idea by ultramarathoner Massimo Minicucci, the race immediately joined the IUTA national calendar.

The circuit, approximately 1,550 meters long on flat asphalt and entirely closed to vehicular traffic, allowed competitors to accumulate kilometers without interruption. The final success went to Salvatore Vassallo (ASD Rincorro), who covered 69.555 km, and Maria Domenica Gagliardi (Puglia Marathon), who finished with 67.256 km. The positive turnout convinced the organizers to repeat the event the following year, this time with the status of AiCS National Championship.
