2025 Edition
In 2025, the 6-8 Hours of Chieti once again enlivened the Villa Comunale of the Abruzzo capital with its endurance challenge. Runners chose between the 6 and 8-hour races, running on a paved loop of approximately 960 meters closed to traffic, with the goal of completing as many laps as possible before the joint finish.
About eighty competitors from various regions of Italy were at the start. The race, organized by the Marathon Club Manoppello Sogeda with the collaboration of AVIS Comunale Chieti and the patronage of the Municipality of Chieti, was included in the Gran Prix IUTA calendar and valid for the Ultra Abruzzo Road and Trail Championship, under the aegis of UISP. An edition that further consolidated the event as a staple of the Abruzzo ultramarathon calendar.
