Edition 2025 — 6/8 Hours of Paglieta

The second edition of the 6/8 Hours City of Paglieta took place on December 27, 2025, in the historic center of the Chieti village. Over two hundred athletes competed on the 1,020-meter closed-traffic asphalt loop in 6 and 8-hour endurance events, alongside a 10 km non-competitive run. The UISP-certified race was valid for the IUTA Ultramarathon Grand Prix, the Central-South Regional Criterium, and the Ultra Abruzzo Circuit.

2025 Edition

On December 27, 2025, Paglieta hosted the second edition of the 6/8 Hours City of Paglieta. The meeting point was set at 7:00 AM at the Via San Canziano sports field, with the 8-hour race starting at 8:00 AM and the 6-hour and 10 km non-competitive races starting at 10:00 AM; all races concluded at 4:00 PM.

In 2025, the course remained the 1,020-meter asphalt loop in the historic center, completely closed to traffic, with an elevation gain of approximately 18 meters per lap. The event, organized by ASD I Lupi d'Abruzzo with the Pro Loco of Paglieta APS, was valid for the IUTA Grand Prix, the Central-South Regional Criterium, and the Ultra Abruzzo Circuit. Participants enjoyed race packs, commemorative medals, refreshment stations, and the traditional pasta party with live music, confirming the festive spirit that accompanies the race on the last weekend of the year.
