A dinner to celebrate 150 years of history
150 Anni a Tavola is the food and wine event with which Montebelluna, in the province of Treviso, celebrates an important anniversary: 150 years since the city market was moved from the old market hill to the plain. An anniversary that tells the story of the city itself, which grew around its market.
Flavours and aromas of the past
For the occasion, a street in the centre is transformed into a long table under the stars. Local restaurateurs, gathered in the Montello a Tavola group, offer a surprise menu inspired by "flavours and aromas of the past", with simple and tasty dishes like those of yesteryear, accompanied by wines from the hills. The setup and service are also handled by Tonon Nicola Events & Catering.
A community celebration
The initiative, promoted by the Municipality of Montebelluna and the Pro Loco of Montebelluna, is part of the celebrations for the market's anniversary and combines taste, memory, and conviviality. Period-themed entertainment accompanies the evening, in a city centre that for one night goes back in time.
