Edition 2025 — 1000 Sassi

The 2025 edition of 1000 Sassi took place in Orvieto from May 22 to 25, with a record 450 registered motorcyclists (260 Explorer, 135 Smart, 55 One Day). Three loop stages over approximately 700 km in total between Umbria, Lazio and Tuscany, from Monte Amiata to the Monte Rufeno reserve to Lake Bolsena.

The 1000 Sassi 2025 enlivened Orvieto from May 22 to 25, recording a record 450 registered motorcyclists: 260 in the Explorer formula (three days), 135 in the Smart (two days), and 55 in the One Day (Sunday only).

The loop stages, from Orvieto to Orvieto, crossed Umbria, Lazio and Tuscany for approximately 700 km in total in the Explorer formula, organized by MotoLampeggio with the authorization of the FMI.

Programme

May 22-25, 2025 — base in Orvieto

  • Friday, May 23 (~205 km) — Stage almost entirely in Umbria, from Orvieto towards Todi
  • Saturday, May 24 (~230 km) — Stage between Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio on the slopes of Monte Amiata, refreshment stop in Castell'Azzara
  • Sunday, May 25 (~233 km) — Route through the Monte Rufeno reserve and the west side of Lake Bolsena, refreshment stop by the lake

Formulas: Explorer (3 stages, ~700 km), Smart (May 24-25, ~435 km), One Day (May 25, ~205 km).
