2025 Edition — 2nd Pierino and Giacomino Alamia Memorial
The 100 km of Parco della Favorita 2025 took place on Sunday, February 23, 2025, inside the Parco della Favorita in Palermo, serving as the 2nd Pierino and Giacomino Alamia Memorial and organized by ASD Ciclotour. The race featured the event's signature format: a 5 km circuit along the park's avenues repeated 20 times, with a 9:00 AM start in a single battery, a solution that made the race tactical and highly competitive.
The competition, reserved for FCI-registered cyclists and those from Sports Promotion Bodies, required the closure of numerous park avenues to vehicular traffic—including Viale Ercole, Viale Diana, and the Fontana d'Ercole area—roughly from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The edition confirmed the stable return of road racing to Palermo's great park and the growing interest of the Sicilian amateur cycling community in this event.
