Edition 2025 — Zuppa alla Paesana Festival

The 52nd edition of the Zuppa alla Paesana Festival took place in Santa Maria del Giudice (Lucca) over three weekends: July 25-27, August 1-3, and August 8-10, 2025. Under the marquee on Via XXIV Maggio, the stars were zuppa alla paesana, grilled meat, marinated salt cod, and torte co' becchi, with dance orchestras, dance school performances, and DJ sets every evening, always with free admission.

The 2025 edition, the 52nd, confirmed the great tradition of the Zuppa alla Paesana Festival in Santa Maria del Giudice, a village in the Municipality of Lucca. The event was held over three weekends — July 25-27, August 1-3, and August 8-10 — under the usual marquee on Via XXIV Maggio.

The star was the zuppa alla paesana, a humble dish of Lucchese peasant cuisine, accompanied by grilled meat, marinated salt cod, and torte co' becchi. Every evening, the festival was enlivened by dance orchestras, dance school performances, and DJ sets, in a cheerful and convivial atmosphere, with free admission.
