Zucchini Festival

In 2025, the Zucchini Festival returned to Borgo Montenero from May 31st to June 2nd, in conjunction with the second edition of the Agricultural Fair: an equipped area of over 20,000 square meters welcomed 80 exhibitors and more than 11,000 visitors over three days, confirming the event as one of the main agricultural showcases in the province of Latina.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Saturday, May 31st, at 10:30 AM in the presence of local authorities, with a tribute concert to Negramaro in the evening. On Sunday, June 1st, the "Biostimulation and Sustainable Nutrition" conference brought together university experts and agronomists, followed by the culinary competition with a show cooking session by Michelin-starred chef Fabio Verrelli D'Amico and a challenge between local home cooks and chefs for the best zucchini-based recipe. Monday, June 2nd, was dedicated to a photo exhibition on the 90 years of Borgo Montenero, amidst food and wine stands, an area dedicated to chili peppers, inflatable games for children, and live music.
