Edition 2025 — Zù p'r e l'Borg'

In 2025, the village of San Nicolò in Villafranca in Lunigiana hosted Zù p'r e l'Borg', the medieval re-enactment set in the time of the Malaspina. Amidst jesters, swordsmen, musicians, and ancient crafts, the village streets came alive for two evenings of shows, falconry, and taverns serving traditional Lunigiana dishes, in an atmosphere that drew visitors from across the region.

The 2025 edition of Zù p'r e l'Borg' confirmed the success of this historical re-enactment in the village of San Nicolò, in Villafranca in Lunigiana (Massa-Carrara). As per tradition, the village transformed into a medieval village animated by jesters, sword fighting, historical dances, juggling, and fire shows.

Along the alleys, artisans showcased ancient crafts, while taverns offered the typical flavors of Lunigiana. A festive evening for the whole family, which paved the way for the tenth edition in 2026.
