Zortea Living Nativity 2025

The 2025 edition took place on December 28, 2025, in the evening, in the village of Zortea (municipality of Canal San Bovo, Vanoi Valley, Trentino). As per tradition, public lighting was switched off and traffic was halted to leave the village immersed in darkness and silence, illuminated only by torches and fires.

Over thirty child actors and numerous adults animated the twelve Nativity scenes, from the Annunciation to the arrival of the Magi, accompanied by music and readings from the Holy Scriptures. The evening concluded with mulled wine, hot apple juice, and traditional sweets, including pinsa, offered by the Vanoi Pro Loco associations. The event is organized by the Pro Loco Prade Cicona Zortea in collaboration with other Pro Loco associations in the valley.
