The 36th edition of the Zanchetta Festival
The 36th edition of the Zanchetta Festival took place on Saturday, August 9, 2025, in Piazza Plebiscito, in the center of Castelnuovo della Daunia (FG). Once again, the undisputed star was zanchetta, the handmade fresh pasta that symbolizes the territory, served according to tradition with legumes.
The evening was enlivened by live music from Charis and 360-degree entertainment by Max Iappelli. During the event, the "Anna Maria Romano" Award was presented, and a donation was made to the Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza, with proceeds from the "Camminata in Rosa dei Tre Casali" fundraiser.
The event was organized by the Pro Loco G.B. Trotta, with the patronage of the Municipality of Castelnuovo della Daunia and UNPLI Puglia, in collaboration with the Borghi Autentici d'Italia, confirming its status as one of the most anticipated summer events in the Daunian Sub-Apennines.
