Zafferana Etnea Book Festival

18th Edition 2025

The eighteenth edition of the Zafferana Etnea Book Festival was held from April 5 to 11, 2025, confirming the success of the festival dedicated to promoting reading. For one week, the Municipality of Zafferana Etnea hosted author meetings in schools, musical events, performances, children's workshops, and training sessions for teachers.

Guests included poet and writer Bruno Tognolini and Bologna Ragazzi Award winners Sonia Maria Luce Possentini, Ole Könnecke, and Isabella Labate. The Night of Tales returned with storyteller Sergio Guastini, while two illustration exhibitions were set up in collaboration with the Carthusia and Orecchio Acerbo publishing houses. The initiative, promoted by the Calicanto Cultural Association, reaffirmed its collaboration with the University of Catania, the Academy of Fine Arts, and Andersen magazine.
