YEAST International Photo Festival

The 2025 edition of the YEAST International Photo Festival, the fourth in its history, was held from September 25 to November 9, 2025, on the theme «(N)ever Enough», a reflection on the contrast between overabundance and food scarcity in contemporary societies.

The event was spread across six towns and nine venues in Salento — Matino, Lecce, Gallipoli, Galatina, Castrignano de' Greci, and the Masseria Le Stanzìe in Supersano — featuring 14 photographic projects by international and local authors. The town of Matino, with its 17th-century Palazzo Marchesale del Tufo, hosted the festival's flagship exhibition.

With over 20,000 visitors, the fourth edition confirmed YEAST's vocation as a distributed cultural project and a driver of sustainable tourism for Puglia.

• Klaus Pichler – «One Third», on food waste
• Lucas Foglia – «A Natural Order», Masseria Le Stanzìe (Supersano)
• Sara Scanderebech – project commissioned by the festival

The program also included talks, guided tours, DJ sets, and educational activities that involved over 100 children.
