Edition 2025 — XTERRA European Championship
XTERRA World Championship 2025
The 2025 edition, held in Molveno from September 25 to 28, marked the fourth and final consecutive time that the Trentino town hosted the XTERRA World Championship, nestled between the Brenta Dolomites and one of Italy's most beautiful lakes. Over 1,000 triathletes from 54 nations brought the shores of Lake Molveno to life.
The Full Distance (1.5 km swim, 32 km mountain bike, 10 km trail) on Saturday awarded the world titles and contributed to the XTERRA World Cup standings. Among the protagonists, Italy's Marta Menditto claimed the women's World Cup title, while the men's race was won by Frenchman Felix Forissier. On Sunday, September 28, the final of the XTERRA Youth Tour concluded the program with the youth categories. 2025 marked the end of Molveno's cycle as the world capital of cross triathlon, ahead of the European Championship debut in 2026.
