Edition 2025 — WWF Family Camps Gole del Sagittario
2025 Edition
In the summer of 2025, the WWF Family Camps brought the Gole del Sagittario Reserve in Anversa degli Abruzzi, in the province of L'Aquila, to life. Families spent days immersed in nature, including guided hikes along the oasis trails, wildlife monitoring activities, and workshops dedicated to discovering the Marsican brown bear.
The initiative, promoted by WWF Abruzzo and the Reserve, represented an important opportunity for environmental education, bringing adults and children closer to the themes of protecting Apennine biodiversity and coexisting with wildlife.
