Edition 2025 — Record-Breaking Torchlight Descent Ortisei

In the winter of 2025, the Scuola Sci & Snowboard Ortisei once again proposed the world's longest torchlight descent, a night run of approximately 10 kilometres along the La Longia slope, from the Seceda mountain station to the Rifugio Val d'Anna. As is tradition, dozens of ski instructors lit their torches, creating a long trail of light among the Dolomites of Val Gardena, in Ortisei.

2025 Edition

During the 2025 winter season, the Scuola Sci & Snowboard Ortisei brought back its most famous event: the world's longest torchlight descent. From the Seceda mountain station, ski instructors descended with lit torches along the La Longia slope for approximately 10 kilometres, down to the Rifugio Val d'Anna.

The event, which was also open to experienced skiers and guests of the valley, confirmed the strong tourist appeal of this night descent in the town of Ortisei/St. Ulrich, in Trentino-Alto Adige, with the traditional dinner at the mountain hut to conclude the evening.
